The editing is flawless. Parton’s gentle strumming cuts in right where Corey Taylor’s screams used to be. The visual timing is so precise you start believing it’s real. For about ten seconds your brain genuinely tries to process Dolly Parton headbanging in a rhinestone jacket.
The moment she hits “I push my fingers into my eyes” is where it breaks you. That line, in her voice, with that smile. It’s absurd. It’s perfect. Metal has always been about breaking rules and ignoring boundaries. This video takes that idea and runs with it straight off a cliff.
