Infectious Grooves

The Infectious Grooves was a funk metal band that was founded by frontman, Bassist, and Guitarist, Michael “Mike D” Davenport. The band’s first studio album had the name “Groove Family Cyco” and was released in 1990.

The Infectious Grooves became popular after the release of their song “Big Dumb Sex” from their third studio album called “Sarsippius’ Ark”. They also have three other albums after that titled; “If I Had a Gun”, “Mas Borracho” and finally, “Action”.

In 1991 the Infectious Grooves disbanded because of clashes with the rhythm section. They reformed in 2000 without Michael Davenport but he rejoined them soon after.
